Blank full screen when viewed in EDGE

I have a problem when viewing an embedded magazine in MS Edge, in full screen, it shows only a blank screen. HTML5 full screen is activated in the editor, and it works ok in other browsers, including Safari on iPad. If I ask for full screen in the editor view, its ok in Edge, but not when viewed from my website. It is set for direct link only.

It must be a Yumpu problem – I believe it worked 3 weeks ago, when I started using Yumpu.

Last night I tried the “Magazine Cover” widget to embed. This works also in Edge, but not when I use “Advanced” or “Custom” widgets – strange!

I have the Adfree plan.

Hello,

can you please send me the link to the embed where this error occurs?

Here it is:

<iframe width=”500px” height=”446px” src=”https://www.yumpu.com/da/embed/view/b1jAiWdF7etKfyXc” frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen=”true”  allowtransparency=”true”></iframe>

Apart from that, I am very pleased with the function of Yumpu.

But this is how it looks, after saving it in the webpage editor, the allowtransparancy disappears, also when I try to enter it manually afterwards.

<iframe src=”https://www.yumpu.com/da/embed/view/b1jAiWdF7etKfyXc” width=”500″ height=”446″ frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen=”allowfullscreen”></iframe>

When I paste the yumpu link directly into the Edge browser, it works fine.

Any suggestions??

This is the embed code copied from my editor, for the “Magazine Cover” Widget – and that works!

I created a test article, with both Advanced and Magazine Cover Widgets – only the latter works in full screen in the Edge browser.

Our developer says, it must have something to do with your site. When he embeds it on his own site, it works perfectly. He mentioned that you have much custom CSS and JS on your page and that you even altered the allowfullscreen attribute.

Hi Linus

You are right – I tried to paste the exact same embed code into another site I have (same webhost, same Joomla installation, same editor – different server, though) and that works!!
Strange, I have to work on that.
By the way – I did’nt alter the attribute, it changes from “true” to “allow full screen”, when I save the article, but it’s the same on the other site, that works.

Sorry to bother you
